People say Rowlet won't evolve because Game Freak wants to keep peddling the borb. Those people are fucking retards.
I mean they're probably half right in GF wanting to keep the borb around and that's why the made him swallow the Everstone but they've never needed an excuse to keep Ash's mons from evolving before.
It's gonna go like this:

>he will immediately evolve into Dartrix and either immediately again or not long after into Deicdueye
Oh also Poipole is going to come back right before the League and learn Dragon Pulse to evolve into Naganadel. Ash never officially released Poipole after all.
Solgaleo MIGHT also come to temporarily join Ash's team as his sixth Pokemon and complete the team. That or Ash is going to catch a fifth Pokemon
