Fairy type is going to ruin Pokemon. Now, before you freak the fuck out, let me explain why. I have no problem with the concept of Fairy type. What I do have a problem with is the amount of Pokemon that will be retyped to fairy. We have 38 already existing Pokemon that are basically guaranteed to be retyped to fairy. Then we have already existing Pokemon that aren't even in the fairy egg group, such as Gardevoir. Then we will have all of the fairies that Game Freak will introduce in gen 6, like Sylveon. We're looking at fairy type potentially being one of the most abundant types, if not THE most abundant type. Now don't get me wrong, fairies are cool and all, but having that many fairies would ruin the game for me.
