After obtaining Kubfu, the Forest of focus will close all its entries with vines, if you go with Kubfu it will go out of his pokeball and open a path with his punches.
Once there, the exit will close again. There you will find 6 Zarudes in different parts of the forest (5 level 20 and one lvl 50), they will battle you and will not let you catch them. Once you defeat all of them the forest will open again.
After you defeat Mustard, when you go back to the forest, you will find a lonely Zarude, when you battle him, his HP start halved, once you catch him a dojo trainer will appear, he will tell you that this Zarude was rejected from the pack for protecting him from the other Zarudes.
