I played through Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon just a couple months ago after modding my 3DS. These are legitimately the worst Pokemon games I have ever played, and they unironically made me wish I was playing Scarlet and Violet again. Yes, USUM are so fucking bad that I actually fantasy bargained with myself about playing Gen 9 Slop again.

Absolutely fucking infuriating. It talks to you throughout the entirety of the fucking game, so you constantly have giant text boxes popping up on the bottom screen, which often give you additonal Yes/No dialogue boxes you can select. If you click on the box and talk to Rotom, he becomes happy. This means that he will talk to you even more often. You can choose to ignore Rotom, but then his eyes turn sad, so you have these depressed looking eyes on your bottom screen staring at you for the entire playthrough. It's a fucking lose/lose. If you choose to ignore him, sometimes the Yes/No options stay on the bottom screen for hours, until some game exposition (usually a fucking cutscene) gets rid of it.
>Route design
Every single route in this game looks exactly the same. It's a windy dirt road with brown grass. Every.Single.Route. They didn't even bother. It's almost appropriate that the entire game is brown, given how fucking dogshit these games are. On top of that, every cite looks the exact same too. A massive grey city, with big gray buildings, with gray roads that take literal minutes to run across. The only exception to this is an asian looking town, which is immediately followed by another asian looking town that is extremely similiar, but on a different island.
