It is true, if you want to be an investorfag then just buy a handful of boxes and sit on them for literally 20 years.
For example, champions path became as expensive as it did because scalp faggots like Pokerev were opening THOUSANDS of packs for 'le omg black chonkazard!! xD'. This when the set was outright garbage AND was a special set, so the max pack-per-box product you could get were ETB's.
