Not to interrupt the current shitstorm and no one will likely respond anyways, but are there any other rom hacks out there which play with the idea of joining the regional team? There was only the Team Rocket one, but I liked the idea of experiencing the game from a different perspective plot wise.
Any suggestions on actual "lore based" rom hacks are also welcome. I'd just like a better Pokemon experience in its own right which expands on the setting without going too far off, like a lot of the more "darker" edgier ones tended to do.
Those felt more like games which happened to have Pokemon, rather than actual Pokemon games, and had the other issue OP mentioned about being grind heavy.
