Elekid finished rubbing his plug, shoves his arms up near his plugs, and begins a charge.
"ELLLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
You see the familiar sight of a black and blue ball forming between his plugs, slowly getting larger and more deadly.
The ball is now transferred to his claws, he winds back, then launches.
"KIDDDDDD!"
The thing about Zap Cannon is, is it's a fantastic move. When it hits. Using it with a speed boost? Great. Using it after a Thunder Wave? Even better. Using it after the enemy is trapped by a whirling red vortex of fire? Perfect.
A direct hit.
>KERRKRASHH!The doorway is obliterated, the Zangoose falls, and this battle is won. You and Kris run over to examine the Zangoose more closely.
Kris points to the Zangoose's claws,"David, look, the claws went back to normal!"
"The skin's changing too, what the hell is this?" You bend down to get a closer look, but a wave of realization hits you like a ton of Geodudes.
Almost entranced by the fallen pokemon, you both forget that you're still in lockdown, and you still haven't completed your mission. The lights are still flickering, and the alarm is still screeching.
"Kris, we need to get moving, now. Whatever is going on here, it's not something we should stay around for any longer than we need to. I'll go to the left and look for that Larvitar, you g-
"And I'll go right to look for more information on just what is happening here."
