I miss when he had the pale tummy to match Raichu's design a bit better. That said, third version is my current favorite. There are plenty of 'soft round' Pokemon these days, I love gen 1 and 2, but old school Pikachu may as well just be a yellow Clefairy with some minor aesthetic changes.
Regardless, he'll always have a place on my team in the main playthrough every time, and if anyone has any cute Pikachu art to share of any variety or version, I'd love to expand my folder a bit.
