Rejuvenation also gives you the chance to get a Torchic, however I've managed to finish the entirety of the game with Seviper and then Typhlosion as starters without ever regretting in, as a matter of fact Typhlosion gets a crest eventually that makes its Attack scale with its S.Attack and give me a Parental Bond effect on all contact moves.
Rejuvenation is just fun, they still suffer a bit because in certain ways they try to emulate Reborn but THANK FUCK they mostly steered clear.
