>>21530224This might be of help to any animators that want to use May in reference to real life things:
Looking at the Battle intro video and applying maths a ruler and several real life things for comparison I was able to determine what some of her measurements would be in real life.
First off charactors in pokemon, manga and anime obviously are not proportioned like a real human, they have much larger heads and the females have much smaller frames (smaller chest, waist and usually hips) and often a larger bust to chest ratio. I know that everyone here knows that but the reason I mention that is because that is why some of the older previous gen 'fan made' 3d models of may or dawn look a bit off, the artists applied real life proportions to what should have been more anime proportioned characters.
Anyway, if you have bothered reading thus far here are the useful measurements (in mm rounded to 3dp):
>Ribbon (the width of the band part of it that goes around her head)43.333mm
>Bag strap width 65mm
>Pokeball diameter (really useful as there is considerable debate about pokeball actual size)8.667mm
>Chest (remember what I said about proportions)462.222mm
>Bust505.556mm
Theoretically this makes her bra size 18B, although her actual bra size is likely to be of a larger cup size because in the model she is wearing a wetsuit style swimming costume under her top and shorts and this will be pushing her in.
