I would be in a city located in a giant chasm of a cave called the Topaz Underpass.
The city is fairly new, with a lot of residential homes still being built. It grew fame with its scenic view of rare gems and pokemon.
I would be one of the main engineers building the town; a fairly laid back guy, but not shy to taking initiative and giving orders.
Gym would be a giant circuit board, with you in a cart that travels the path of an electron.
The cart continuously travels the path, even without you in it. The cart will also slow down when going through a "resistor" at which time you'd be allowed to get on/off the cart from an adjacent platform.
The puzzle revolves around turning on/off switches in the path that would close/break the circuit.
When the switches are open, you can walk through them to new areas, but the cart can't move. When the switches are closed, your paths are blocked, but the cart can move.

1st: Electrode, Magnezone(Main), Eelectric, Lanturn
Rematch: Galvantula, Magnezone, Eelektross, Lanturn, Electrode, Stunfisk
After being defeated I would hand out the Ohm badge, praising the trainer for being so well at resisting electric types
The badge would be shaped like the Omgea symbol with a bolt of electricity in the middle.
