> Has your family's Porygon been acting strange? Recent evidence has shown that if your favorite virtual duck has been staring vacantly into space, that's not PTSD, that's anonymous hackers. It's been discovered that a flaw in Porygon's programming allows someone to see what they see. Some claim that this flaw might even allow outside sources to control the pokemon both in and out of cyberspace. Originally, this was only a problem for the illegally modified version of Porygon known as "Porygon Z". However, careless breeding and releasing by unaware owners has resulted in the exploit being present in newly hatched specimen. If you've recently received or caught a Porygon, it's highly recommended you bring it to a branch of Silph Co. and allow them to run a diagnostic check on the creature. And for the love of all that is decent, DO NOT USE IT TO MAKE PURCHASES OVER THE INTERNET.>Ending the news on a positive note, the victims of last week's kidnapping as well as the other abductions that have plagued our city for the past few months have been returned by an unexpected hero. Just yesterday, citizens in the downtown area noticed a small line of children being led somewhere by a Hypno. The curious critter, often labeled as a child predator of sorts, was about to be attacked by people on the street until the children stopped them. According to the kids, the psychic pokemon had used its powers of suggestion to temporarily knock out the kidnapper and give the kids a chance to escape. Unsure of where to go, the children followed the Hypno through the woods until they came upon the city. The children are now back safe in arms of their family and the Hypno is set to be adopted by our local gym leader.
