>>52410844>for the ancient pokemon why were there never any fossils found of them, and why aren't fossilmon included among them? They may have found fossils of them but they're so similar to the modern counterparts that they assumed they didn't change.
The real answer though is that they needed it to make sense with Violet.
>Additionally why did everyone freak out when seeing them thinking they're not even pokemon when theres plenty of books on ancient pokemon in the universe. Parity with Violet, also they called them pokemon at first before making note of their ferocity.
>Something like Roaring Moon would leave some form of bones right?Bones similar to its modern counterpart yes, but again, parity with Violet. Pokemon from the future wouldn't exactly leave fossils would they.
>Finally, why would the only records of these ancient pokemon be occult magazines? Simple, the classic bootstrap paradox.
The professors take a pokemon from the future/past, wonder how they appeared 200 years ago, realise it was them, send it 200 years into the past so they can create the book and then bring them back so there's no record of paradox mon other than the book which the magazine will write about.
Also who told you the only records were magazines when the game itself hammers it in that the true source is the book?
