>>31881907>>31881206pretty much this. it's been hinted at quite often that kanto is making a comeback, and possibly being the center of the pokemon universe since it "all comes together".
from what i can gather, ho-oh is significant because it was seen in episode 1 of pokemon way back in kanto. why? possibly some necrozma shenanigans that gamefreak will poke at and be like "SEE? IT WAS INTENTIONAL THAT HO-OH WAS THERE LUL".
so basically we're expected to re-visit kanto and the ultra beasts are gonna follow us or some stupid plot device. the three "secrets" are probs kanto starters or (heaven forbid) them with "new features" from the inevitable return to kanto, or as i like to call it..."kantwo".
i'd love to give gamefreak enough credit for coming out of left field with bizarre new ideas, but let's face it, they've been quite disappointing recently and the only fun thing about the franchise is shitposting theories here with you autists.
i hope you guys enjoyed it as much as i did. not only did the sun/moon ride last longer than the actual game length, but it was far more interesting reading head-canons than experience that sad excuse of a "story". so by all means, continue. it means a lot to me.
