I got into Pokemon when I was 5 and moved to America from Greece. My mother's friend had a Silver GBA and a copy of Pokemon Silver, and I didn't know any English. I remember I was just sitting there with my twintails and a little dress, playing with their cat and speaking Greek, and they wordlessly handed me the system and cartridge with a smile. I was enthralled. And that's how I learned English. I've been into Pokemon ever since, and I still go back to that old cartridge on my scratched Game Boy Color.
