The anti-3D mentality is baffling to me because so many Pokemon look better in 3D that it's insane. You always see people mention shit like Typhlosion as proof that 3D ruined the visuals, but these people ignore the literal hundreds of Pokemon designs that are expressed a million times better in 3D.
Look at pic related. Now go look at its 2D sprites with tweened animations from the earlier games. 3D was a fucking godsend for the visual appeal of any fucking Pokemon with complex moving parts.
