Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only moves that can multiple non-adjacent foes are status moves.
Either way, a slight difference doesn't matter. My calculations are assuming the absolute best case scenario for the Pokemon. Realistically, their moves would have much less PP and not actually hit 8 lions per hit.
