But an eighth of the entire Pokedex is shitty vomit greens, another eighth is eye-meltingly bright and disgusting, and another eighth is just a tiny bit differently colored than the original.
I really think that a huge chunk of shinies need to be retconned. You can tell that they're starting to get their act together around gen 4 or 5, but the early gens have so many bad ones.
Seriously, for example, who approved this color change?
