>>50629366> Years of researchHow exactly has this helped him catch the Pokemon he’s caught? I don’t think there’s a single time he’s ever put that research into any of his catching experiences beyond knowing the name of the Pokemon.
>lots of trainingNow you know this isn’t true. Goh’s Pokemon have constantly been shown training themselves. Goh has never been shown actually training his Pokemon himself, ever. In fact the original reason Scorbunny evolved in the first place was because Goh didn’t want to train it so it went and did it itself.
> tons of data collection for SakuragiThis data has never been relevant beyond the Drizzile episode, and never has been used for a purpose of Goh catching a Pokémon.
> huge strides in teamwork with Pokemon AND peopleThis is your only point and even still it has little weight because we don’t ever see Goh get development for this unless it’s one of the three PM episodes that focus on it. Otherwise it’s forced, because he’s been working flawlessly teamwork wise with Ash since the jump.
> learning from a friend who's done a lot.And only one time did he ever put that learnset to use which was the Flygon episode, after that it’s never addressed again.
Yes let’s be honest, you are delusional. I don’t hate Goh, hell I’m not even the anon you were originally talking to. I’m just telling you that from watching the series objectively Goh has not deserved the majority of things he’s done in the past 113 episodes. When has Goh practiced catching? Used different Pokeballs? Been shown studying the data he’s accumulated? Practiced battle techniques in case he does have to battle? Practiced teamwork simulations in case he has to work with someone that isn’t Ash? Asked Ash about any techniques he’s used in battles? He hasn’t? Oh okay.
