This condemned the franchise to constantly please the nostalgiafags and thanks to this we will have the same Pokemon recycled in the form of Megas, Regionals, Gigamax, Convergents, Paradoxes, and whatever else they can think of to keep their most vocal community happy.
Personally, I don't find them good or bad, but I appreciate what they tried, it's a shame that this concept failed, since I'm bored of seeing the same Pokemon in every fucking region losing a lot of individuality, it's like that Simpsons episode where they travel to Japan and only eat burgers in an American-themed restaurant.
