I spend most of my day playing with only one badge as result. Gotta love it
Lost Machop because it couldn't get away from Gastly who mean looked+Cursed it immediately. Lost Pachurisu to a Trashing Gyarados, which sucks since Crasher also starts off with a Gyarados. I kept Gastly as such until level 29 so it would learn Shadow Ball on level up to Haunter and one quick trade later and I get early Shadow Ball Gengar. Picked up Focus Blast before confronting Maylene though, Flying types that have shitty defense and a neutral defense against Fighting types didn't fill me with confidence.
>Maylene
I debated between Klepto and Pidgit, because Klepto is stronger and faster, but also weaker. Decided on Pidgit for Double Teams and extra bulk. Expecting a turn one detect (as gen 3 does) Pidgit DT'd, but Meditite Meditated instead. One Wing Attack took out Meditite. Machoke came out but it didn't die in one hit. Luckily for me Machoke used Foresight instead of actually damaging me. It didn't heal either so another Wing Attack finished it.

I was pissing myself desu. This thing is powerful for this stage of the game. And fast too since it outsped Pidgit, activating it's Sitrus leaving it on 47/75hp. Pidgit's wing attack did slightly over 40%. Now i figured; Clearly Force Palm/Drain Punch is the obvious option so I''ll just send King Boo in on it for a free switch. Apparently Maylene is a psychic because instead it went for Metal Claw, leaving King Boo on 45/79.
This is trickier. Focus Miss is infamous for, well, missing. A crit metal claw would end this run immediately. I went for Focus Blast and I unironically popped off when it connected. Not out of the woods yet, luckily.
Also a question for you guys. Pachu's Pickup makes it pick of Dusk, Shiny and Dawny stones past level 31. If I would put Pachu in the Day Care whilst grinding and it goes to level 31, can I hypothetically put it back in the party during my grinding to reap those sweet rewards?
