OP here, got another story:
>Battling once more with my Clefable from Leaf Green
>This guy brings out a FEAR Team, a Sigilyph, and a Liligant
>This time I bring Chomp and Venusaur as backup
>He sends out Magnamite first, uses Magic Coat to bounce back Sneaky Pebbles
>He doesn't keep spamming it though so I still get it up on his side
>He's prepared to toxic spam this so I send out the Clefable to wall his level 1 Magnet
>He sends out the Sigilyph. Not shiny, so I guess he's legit.
>Cosmic Power, of course
>I used to use one of these back in Gen 6 I know how this ends
>Send out the Chomp immediately on his first use of CP
>He's forced to switch into Liligant and it drops instantly to Dragonium-Z Outrage
>He sends out Magnamite again, sturdy is broken
>Protects once
>Protects TWICE
>Gets Protect THREE TIMES
>Chomp just dies from the poison the fourth turn, but at least manages to take down the magnet with her.
>Now it's Clefable vs Sigilyph
>I start setting up my own CPs alongside him
>He uses Air Slash
>He actually doesn't have Stored Power
>grinch_grin.jpeg
>Proceed to spend 78 turns and 30 minutes jPP stalling this guy out of everything he has, as we both spam Cosmic Power and our attacking moves
>He runs out first and becomes forced to Struggle
>I just keep the Clefable in to watch it KO itself
>The evil is defeated
I'll be honest, I kind of respect the other guy. He probably knew the moment I revealed I had softboiled he was gonna lose but he played it out and even let me watch his Sigilyph struggle out. He didn't disconnect, and I can kind of respect him for that.
This time I do actually have a picture as a result of that. Enjoy.
