Cutscenes out the ass, a bland uninteresting story, dog shit Pokemon designs (the worst in the series easily), 1 dimensional characters, the worst most linear region in the series etc etc.
Gen 6 gets a little bit of flak but it had too much to fix from the damage gen 5 did that it's unrealistic to think gen 6 by itself could fix the mistake At least gen 6 got Pokemon designs right again but most of the other problems remained.
