>>30966172I think he's popular enough for those things to happen as it is now, plus I think the leaks for the anime say Ash gets Litten and that it will evolve but I don't much stock into leaks usually but it would help his popularity.
I do strongly believe if Pokemon wants to be consider a serious competive game it needs to remove at the very least the IVs from the game, they are too much of a barrier to entry especially in a game who's target audience is children. And they don't really add much in terms of the gameplay.
