A lot of people felt that the muay thaiger concept hit a dead end last time it was discussed as not many designs that were being put out looked like something you'd find in pokemon.
But I think the guy who drew this had an interesting take on it with the teardrop shaped torso (like medicham or lopunny). It seems less human than previous designs and more pokemon.
