>>47572620I can't tell if you're annoyed that people think Go increased sales or if you want someone to say that Pokemon Black and White sold poorly because they're bad, but if you were following Pokemon back then, you'd know what the sentiment surrounding the franchise was prior to Black and White's release; that it was a stagnant franchise that kept producing the same game over and over again to rake in easy money.
Pretty similar to what people say now actually.When Black and White were coming out people were annoyed and thought HGSS should have had those graphics. There was a common sentiment that Sinnoh was lame and that's where people were ready to wash their hands of Pokemon. They only came back because XY grabbed their attention with dynamic changes like fully modeled 3D Pokemon, Mega Evolutions, and Pokemon Amie. The games looked a lot more innovative than Black and White from the outset, so people were willing to give Pokemon a chance again.
This isn't a theory, this is something that people have said out of their mouths for years. I get that you're trying to be willfully obtuse to farm (You)'s, but it just makes you come off as new.
