Despicable. They had their hands on an early draft of what became the biggest media franchise in the world, and rather than releasing and preserving that content as soon as it became available to them, they obscure it with their own fan-fiction bullshit and try to make a quick buck out of it. People aren't going to know the convoluted context surrounding this: pretty much forever now, you're going to come across these fanmade mock-ups whenever these early monster designs are discussed, which I'm sure is what their ultimate intention of these self-aggrandizing fucks was.
In terms of the legitimate content, it's nice that these are being circulated and preserved, but what a fucking crap way to do it.
