The Cyrus fight in the Distortion World was pretty difficult. He got an Earth Power crit off on Gardevoir right before Yawn put him to sleep, so that was very unfortunate. Luckily, I was able to catch Uxie + Suicune after I got out of the Distortion World, so we got a nice power boost before the final stretch. I was warned of another boss fight in Sunyshore before I can take on the actual gym so hopefully I'm prepared enough. EXP management has been the toughest thing in this run because of the spacing of all the boss battles. I might call it a night after I take on the Sunyshore Gym, but I'll be reporting back at least once more before then.
Apologies for benching Glaceon. Though, every time I do bench him, bad things happen. Maybe I'll bring him along for the Elite 4 if that pattern holds.
>>46074931Good ruleset. Fire Red is one of the harder games to nuzlocke IMO because of the poor encounter variety early on, but you do get a guaranteed Magikarp + all of the starters are good while none of them are really game breaking save for maybe Squirtle. Good luck anon!
