>>55982316nta but out of curiosity what is your criteria for someone being trans in the first place? personally i think it's a little weird to define someone as not being trans because of a lack of sex dysphoria in the gigapassoid sans-BDD case because having sex dysphoria would be indistinguishable from not having it and that doesn't feel good to me. i think it makes more sense to delineate, and therefore gatekeep, communities based on having sex dysphoria and not having sex dysphoria because i personally think that transness is defined based on whether or not one "transitions" (although that's a very vague term). in that sense i think we would probably be in agreement, but in different ways
