some other moves locked behind those tutors are things like dual chop and icy wind, weirder still of course is that they don't allow you to have them until after the gym.
apparently dual chop would have broken shit like a busted grass/rock mega with bullshit defenses, massively powerful priority, rock head STAB head smash and grassy terrain wood hammer
