>>48926001So Petalburg Gym wasn't that bad. I went Speed -> Defense -> OHKO, and in the last room they can't hit flying ghost types, only having Fissure and Explosion for attacks, so I slapped a Balloon on Decidueye. Marowak was a pretty big help for the first two.
>NormanFight was pretty daunting. His team - Swellow, Tauros, Linoone, Exploud, Slaking, Mega Kangaskhan.
I lead Minior and used Cosmic Power and Shell Smash to orient myself to get hit out of the meteor form safely, then killed Swellow as he strangely sent in Exploud. A Flying Gem Acrobatics killed that. He sends out the mon he should have sent out previously, Slaking. It Night Slashes into A-Golem, who I Magnet Rise so his best move on me is Night Slash and hit him for a few Stone Edges as he sleeps me with Yawn. I don't kill him before magnet rise runs out, so I pivot carefully to Bewear who gets Yawned as I kill him.
Out is Tauros. I pivot Bewear back in safely after I'm Intimidated and not Yawned, then after that is the big threat Mega Kang, sadly Tauros left me a bit too low with Bewear. No real good strat for this thing. I send in Marowak on Seismic Toss, but then get a bit greedy here and go for Will-o-Wisp as it EQs to knock me down to a third. Then, I pivot between Tsareena and Marowak on its Facade/Earthquakes until burn gets it low enough where Crabominable can take it out with Mach Punch. Then I just kill off Linoone.
>>48928980Rock Smash actually makes Geodude pretty good for Roark. Also I think there are possible Machop in the grass north of Oreburgh.
>>48927871Sincerely good luck anon, I'm sure you're more nervous than you need to be. Your team looks great.
>>48927418>>48927439Nice to see another old face back, those drawings really are cute.
Could maybe limit your Pokemon to a certain color or egg group, or a few types/egg groups/colors. I know there's a variant called Palettelocke that does that.
