on the topic of types bibi strikes me as a fighting/bug type. she has dorky swirly glasses that just scream "big buggy compound eyes" to me. bug types also have that rep for being kinda wimpy and she spends a good chunk of her life in poor health so you've got that "frail" sort of aspect.
fighting not just because she picks up martial arts at some point, but because of its association with grit, determination, justice, hard work etc. also, before the events of the indigo disk mellow her out she does have those violent temper flares. overall, "feisty" isn't a bad word to describe her.
alto is a normal/dark type, because as much as he tries his best to maintain an air of mystique and a bad boy allure he's just a kid trying to live up to his idea of what "coolness" is. I could also see him being an electric/dark type though, given down the line he makes his own TMs and overdrive is an electric type move.
tesoro could really be any combination of ghost/dark/poison (and honestly, i could even make arguments for something like ghost/steel or ghost/fairy). tes may or may not be a reincarnation of one of the ancient kings of paldea, the very one whose castle was brought to rubble by the treasures of ruin. i like to think that desire to recollect them never died, and that even if the kings body had long decayed his wish lived on, and now haunts the region what must be centuries later. tesoro is also a bit whimsical, creepy, and good at making himself scarce which all read "ghost" to me. dark and poison both align well with his traitorous nature, shady dealings, and underhanded tactics.
