>>48167338It's tough trying to argue with an ESL. You've typed a bunch of stuff but none of it actually means anything, in some cases it actually sounds like you're agreeing with me unless you're stupid enough to think little kids are being appealed to by low-poly Lara or Kratos.
My original point was that Fortnite appeals to both kids and adults, something Gamefreak is incapable of doing, you trying to backpedal and say Fortnite doesn't try to target adults (which is what I think you're doing) even with multiple instances of M rated crossovers, or franchises that debuted in like the 80s, then you're just being disengenuous.
Another great example is Smash Bros, its a """kids game""" but the vast majority of DLC has been stuff only adults would understand. Little kids don't know Terry, or Banjo, or Sephiroth, or Kazuya. They didn't know K. Rool or Bayonetta either, and yet all these characters are in the game, because even if the game is E10, the actual target audience is "anyonoe who's ever played a video game". This isn't exclusive to Fortnite, I feel like Pokemon is the only franchise with mass appeal that actively ignores the adult fanbase in regards to everything except Kanto nostalgia baiting.
