What in the goddamn fuck has he been doing for 25 years? The battle system in Gen 9 is EXACTLY the same as it was in Gen 1, just with added gimmicks. There's literally been 0 attempt at streamlining, improving or changing up the battle engine. 0 attempt to salvage Gen 1 - 3 shitmons outclassed by power creep. 0 attempt whatsoever. Why the fuck is GF so incompetent? I'm not even saying that to hate anymore, I'm genuinely just confused at why they make such terrible decisions consistently.
