It took a minute but we're here, the early game's changed fairly drastically so there was a lot less for me to do this time than in previous releases.
The short of the story up until this point is as follows: boat crash, mom dead(?), join pokemon league (yeah cause that's healthy coping), thwart local wrongdoing for sidequests, bum it up in some sewers, gamble, poison a kid and then befriend her and her hot topic friends, beat her in a gym fight.
Nothing really proved a challenge once I picked up the Seviper egg, soloed the gym.
I decided against intense seeing as I struggled enough with the game on normal and now seeing that the devs pushed back when I get access to the EV training stations, I'm gonna err on the side of caution.
My mons will get descriptions once stuff actually happens.
