Beedrill has always been my favorite Kanto Pokemon. Like, I think he's the only Kanto Pokemon to crack my top 25. He's the reason I played PU. He was my #1 hope for a mega in X/Y.
When I heard that there was a Mega Beedrill in ORAS, I got anxious. There's so many stupid megas. A lot of them look stupid, or have stats distributed inefficiently, or have a wasted ability.
Then I saw it. Mega Beedrill looks awesome. They min/maxed the fuck out of his stats and gave him a great ability, so he's actually a good glass cannon. I'm not going to lie, I actually cried when I saw Mega Beedrill.
This is the only thing Game Freak has ever done that is a 100% success in my opinion.
