How about male Combee becomes Beedrill.
And Weedle evolves into Kakuna, and then, based on it's personality value it becomes either Pinsir or Heracross. Weedle would of course have the egg moves Heracross and Pinsir used to have.
I'm not sold on the idea though, my reasoning was weedle looked more like a grub than a heminopteran larva, and it's horn becoming the horns on either heracross or pinsir was kind of interesting.
