The people that did have issues with Dacapo Town centred these centrally around the fact that Dacapo Town is a little out of the ordinary for starter towns in Pokemon. However, in general this was concluded to not be necessarily a bad thing. The changes made will be:
>Your mother or some other NPC will have dialogue that directs you in the direction of the lab.
>Mailboxes will only be used to show your own and your Rival's houses. No mats will be at any house.
>The pool at the end of the series of waterfalls will become a stream that flows out of Dacapo Town. Whether this connects to the streams on Route 1 as popularly proposed depends on whether that is a feasible change to make as part of the region changes.
