Hang in there, guys. First week was really tough for me, too. I think one night alone I had 8 matches of 2-3 battles each, or so... Try to limit yourself and keep an even pace. Doing this for hours with no break is a good way to wear yourself out.
I also really enjoyed trying out new team members every week.
If you hit a bad streak and lose like 3 matches or something, just let it roll off. Try to learn from your shortcomings and think of ways to beat the same strategy next time. Sometimes, barring stupid levels of hax, you just can't win, and that's not your fault. As a Normal gym, if I saw 2 or more non-mega Fighting-types, I knew my goose was probably cooked. It happens. Just put up the best fight you can manage.
