pokemon was never meant for your self-righteous non-casual ass. GF is simply adapting to what kids want to play. At the start of pokemon, kids were basically used to grinding half the time because every other game of the decade was utilizing grinding for artificial length as well. Kids nowadays want less challenge and less artificial length. They prefer to get to the meat of the game, even if that makes for less time-consumption. You whining about what you grew up with has no weight on what the intended audience is used to and demands from a game and will never affect anything.
