Gen X didnt want their kids to have that level of freedom so they wanted to shelter them from the pains of the world, which didnt work out very well because they sheltered them too hard.
This led Gen Z to be very manipulative to their families and doing shit that was "taboo" to them. When you tie something natural like sexuality to the "taboo" your brain will naturally seek it out more.
Millennials did the opposite and let their kids do whatever however this was also bad because the internet was rising and unrestricted internet access without a whitelist (and most normalfags are too stupid to know how to blacklist websites and results on search engines) led to some of the most morally depraved fucks ever.
