I don't know how the character designers fucked it up so bad back then; how do you get handed designs as good as Sugimori's Dawn and Iris and put out this sameface garbage? I especially don't miss episodic appearances from the Rocket Trio and repetitive character gags like Brock simping and whatever the fuck they were going for with Cilan. You can have your endless sameface forest filler, I'll stick with my beautiful OS (Kanto), XY, SM, and PM.
