>>45530612That guy is a retard. I banked my Bulbasaur almost immediately and just used pokemon I could find early on. Here's all the pokemon you can get before Brock. I'm pretty fucking shit at competitive pokemon and I was able to get to the Elite Four with minimal grinding. The fights get harder as the game goes on but you also get tons more tools. You can't even really grind in this game anyway. You get the Gen 8 exp share at the end of viridian forest so if you want to level up a shitmon until it gets decent moves it's pretty trivial. Just try the game if you haven't played it yet, it's literally free and if you actually liked pokemon you would probably just try the romhack instead of posting about what someone else claimed to experience.
I mean all these hacks and shit are free, just fucking try them. What else do you have going on?
