>>20931486Well I can tell you're baiting as hard as possible, but I'll humor you.
Aegislash was such a good offensive pivot that it could fit onto any team and make it better. It's so good at what it does (take hits and punish switches with extremely powerful STABs) that it single handedly pushed tons of mons out of OU while bringing some up to deal with it. People kept using Mandibuzz as a defogger for as long as they did just to have a chance at gibbing Aegislashes that didn't have Flash Cannon. Aegislash has such strong defenses that the only two mons worth a damn that could OHKO it are Char Y and Landorus-I, neither of which want to switch into it in fear of taking a Shadow Ball. Look at how much stuff rose up after Aegislash left. Gardevoir, Medicham, Heracross, and Mew all became more usable once Aegislash left, and I can guarantee you they would still be considered shit had Aegislash not been banned.
Deoxys-D/S made HO too bloody strong, with hazard and screens sets that made them impossible to deal with easily, while Deo-S had a revenge killer set that hit way too hard for its ability to also support teams as well as it did. Genesect was just fucking stupid and I won't even both explaining why forcing the entire metagame to rearrange their defensive stats just for one threat is a problem.
