Wow. The SMfags are out and about tonight.
>>46959246Did you even look at the link you posted? The first trial happened in episode 9, grand trial at 10, then the next trial at 33, grand trial at 35, next trial at 76, grand trial at 77, next trial at 107 that wasn’t even a trial for Ash, and the grand trial at 109. 20+, 30+, 40+, and 30+ episode gaps for FOUR Grand Trials, one of which Ash didn’t even DO a prior trial for. Even the trial before the Nanu Grand Trial was just a TR battle instead of an actual trial like the previous two trials.
What happened during those episode gaps? What development did Ash get during those times? What development did his Pokémon get? What progress was made at the Pokémon school? What story beats occurred that made the story move forward toward the end goal? What was even the end goal before the Pokémon League was randomly thrown in ?
>which are?See
>>46959249Data Broadcasts, Cast interviews, magazine promos, episode scans, upcoming episode previews, social media contests, tie in games etc. SM had little to nothing engaging for the fans outside of the weekly episodes to keep interest around. And when an interview would eventually come out, it was just the producers or Rica trying to save face about the change in tone and art style.
>>46959276>screechingNice projecting, that guy did no such thing
Also
>The Canipa Effect Yes show me more videos by the guy who cherry picked scenes from the most well animated episodes and not your average weekly one that looked worse than previous seasons.
>>46959249>Did we get anything like that during SM?No.
