Well I did get my Dratini but it took a lot of fishing and a lot of the Dupes clause saving me from Seakings.
And a fucking Paras. At least I could trade my Nidoran and get a Nidoking with boosted experience rates if I want.
I'm thinking I'm gonna make Evan a zappy boi, but god damn do I wish I had a better option. Anything with Dark, or something bulkier with good typing to tank Ice hits. Could grab Lapras for the latter, but I'm not sure I want the offensive abilities there. Haven't taken either Lapras or a Hitmon yet, so those are both open. Could try for a Dewgong later too, or try to fish up a Horsea.
Gotta take on Koga here in Fuchsia City now I guess, and assuming I get the ability to use Surf on the overworld I think I start surfing towards Cinnabar Island? I don't remember when I do the Slyph Co. though, maybe that's next. Or maybe you get to choose. I'll find out soon enough.
