Relatively new to Nuzlocking but I already hate it.
Just got the 7th Badge, on my way to defeat Palkia, challenged by Mars & Jupiter. I made a mistake and sent out my Wormadam, Maracuja, against their Skuntank. Anticipation activated, so I knew Skuntank knows some kind of Fire type move, but all of a sudden I went like "Fuck that shit, I'm going to kill that Skuntank so hard". Ha, jokes on me, Skuntank was faster, 1-hit K.O.'d Maracuja and my heart tore into pieces. I managed to defeat them and my fucking Rival Barry appeared. I hate this guy so much but he healed all my Pokémon and revived Maracuja. Some may count that as cheating but for me it feels like that asshole was a nice guy and rescued Maracuja in the last second.
So then battle vs. Cyrus. Long story short, he killed my Clefable, Karambola, who was supposed to be my secret weapon against Palkia. Fuck that guy.
"Ok, I got this. I still have my Chimecho, Bael, and Gyarados, Loquad, who can easily kill that guy. Just Yawn it with Bael, switch to Gyarados, set up Dragon Dance and I basically won." Fuck Palkia. Critical Hit Spacial Rend against Bael, 1-hit K.O., switch to Gyarados, Critical Hit Water Pulse, "Oh man, luckily Loquad is part Water type", heal up, Critical Hit Dragon Claw, 1-hit K.O., switch to my Machamp, Papaya, and manage to kill Palkia with Cross Chop.
Many tears were shed.
