I think Giga Wrecker is a great game, it's a shame that most people here don't even touched it because it doesn't has "Pokemon" attached to it, the story is pretty dark, the setting is in a apocalyptic world where machines destroyed and slaved the entire civilization, the gameplay is more or less like a Metroidvania, it has a lot of action but also plenty of puzzles envolving peculiar physics, you thought that Sun/Moon were weak and lacking in puzzles? This games has some REALLY well crafted and unique puzzles, and don't even get me started with the bosses, the designs are cool and they're HARD like hell, I'm actually surprised that Game Freak made a game this challenging, the game is very hard and you can even skip cutscenes just pressing a button (a feature that even Sun/Moon lacks, it makes replaying the game pretty good).
Overall a well crafted and satisfying game, it really gives a different vibe from the "happy to go lucky" feel of Pokemon, dialogue is pretty good and feels more human than in pokemon (well, outside this cherrypicked typo).
