Real world taxonomy in this argument is worthless if it doesn't get to the genus level at least. Taxonomic orders and families are just fucking vast most of the time and rarely correspond well to layman usage. Not to mention that with its snout Cyndaquil resembles a echidna more than a true porcupine and that obviously is as furthest removed from mice as a mammal could be by definition.
