>>14451594>StartersHere to stay, not much wrong with them. I wish Gamefreak took into account the starter types better when they decided on Gyms though, none of the starters should have an advantage/disadvantage on the first two at least.
>Regional butterflyI don't mind this so much, though I wish they were a little better at least. Vivillion's patter gimmick is really cool, just learning that about it makes it one of my favorite Gen VI Pokemon and they didn't hype it at all before release.
>Regional birdI'm glad they're at least starting to show some variety with this in Talonflame, we need more like it and Staraptor in the future.
>Electric rodentShit at best, downright annoying at worst. Fuck Emolga. They could at least have them evolve.
>Version exclusivesThis isn't terrible as long as there isn't more than three or so. I really like the newer model they seem to be doing where most "exclusives" are just much more common in one version than the other.
>Box Legendaries>Legendary TrioA few Legendaries can be really cool. I don't mind Legendaries being incorporated into the plot so long as it's not a complete clusterfuck like in Gen IV. Gen V would have done well with it if the Musketeers didn't exist.
Ideally, we have a Legendary Trio, the Box Legendaries plus a hidden member or Trio Master, and one or two extra Legendaries that are optional encounters. An extra Pixie Legendary and sometimes a hidden powerful Legendary (like Deoxys) can be cool too if done well.
